A finished assignment is not automatically safe to publish as a portfolio example. A training dataset may include customer records, licensed photographs or material supplied only for classroom use. Before uploading the project, check what the school allows you to share and replace restricted material with a small synthetic example where appropriate. Keep the technical explanation, but remove details that expose a real person or an employer’s internal process.
When comparing programmes through KGAM, ask how the course handles portfolio permissions as well as feedback on assignments. Find out whether you can publish the code, screenshots and input data, and whether a separate public version is expected. If an assistant helps write the project description, give it the shareable version instead of the original restricted files. A clear account of the method can demonstrate learning without distributing material you were never authorised to release.
